Mary Gilchrist

Mary was born on August 26th, 1803.¹   Mary's father was Angus Gilchrist and her mother was Margaret McKay.  Her paternal grandparents were John Gilchrist and Effie McMillan. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Archibald McKay, John, Catherine and Effie.  She was the third oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James Graham, John Jacob Rhodes and Elizabeth.  She died at the age of 45 on January 3rd, 1849.¹
