Effie Gilchrist

Effie was born on November 20th, 1801.¹   Effie's father was Angus Gilchrist and her mother was Margaret McKay.  Her paternal grandparents were John Gilchrist and Effie McMillan. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Archibald McKay, John, Catherine and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James Graham, John Jacob Rhodes and Elizabeth.  She died about 1886 in Marshall, Texas.¹
