James Graham Gilchrist

James Graham was born on October 21st, 1814 in Richmond Co., N. C..¹   James Graham's father was Angus Gilchrist and his mother was Elizabeth McNeill.  His paternal grandparents were John Gilchrist and Effie McMillan. He had a brother and a sister, named John Jacob Rhodes and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Archibald McKay, John, Catherine, Effie and Mary.  He died at the age of 75 on May 18th, 1890 in Montgomery, Alabama.¹
