King David Dean

King David was born about 1858 in Jonesville, Liberty Co., GA.¹   King David's father was Gideon Barnwell Dean and his mother was Elizabeth Williams.  His paternal grandparents were Jesse Dean and Mary Ann Unknown. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Samuel John, Allen William, Gideon Barnwell, Beauford Le Conte, William Jones, Mary C., Sarah Isabella, Louisa Victoria, Elizabeth Clifford, Henrietta Alice and Lillian Gertrude.  He was the youngest of the twelve children. He had three half-sisters named Unknown, Margaret M. and Eliza Catherine.¹
