Allen William Dean

Allen William was born about 1838 in Jonesville, Liberty Co., GA.¹   Allen William's father was Gideon Barnwell Dean and his mother was Elizabeth Williams.  His paternal grandparents were Jesse Dean and Mary Ann Unknown. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Samuel John, Gideon Barnwell, Beauford Le Conte, William Jones, King David, Mary C., Sarah Isabella, Louisa Victoria, Elizabeth Clifford, Henrietta Alice and Lillian Gertrude.  He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He had three half-sisters named Unknown, Margaret M. and Eliza Catherine.  He died on October 9th, 1894 in Wilcox Co., GA.¹
