Marie Sophie was born on September 23rd, 1827 in MARIEVILLE P.Q.CANADA.1 Marie Sophie's father was Michel Boivin and her mother was Catherine Gareau Stonge. Her paternal grandparents were Michel Boivin and Marie Catherine Goguet; her maternal grandparents were Jean* Baptiste Gareau and Margaret* Chalifour. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Jean Baptiste, Antoine, Michel, Francoise Xavier, Michel, Honoré*, Joseph and Jean Marie. She was the youngest of the nine children.1 -
