Jean Baptiste was born on July 25th, 1812 in MARIEVILLE QUEBEC CANADA.1 Jean Baptiste's father was Michel Boivin and his mother was Catherine Gareau Stonge. His paternal grandparents were Michel Boivin and Marie Catherine Goguet; his maternal grandparents were Jean* Baptiste Gareau and Margaret* Chalifour. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Antoine, Michel, Francoise Xavier, Michel, Honoré*, Joseph, Jean Marie and Marie Sophie. He was the oldest of the nine children.1 -
