Honoré* was born on July 1st, 1824 in MARIEVILLE, QUEBEC,CANADA.1 Honoré*'s father was Michel Boivin and his mother was Catherine Gareau Stonge. His paternal grandparents were Michel Boivin and Marie Catherine Goguet; his maternal grandparents were Jean* Baptiste Gareau and Margaret* Chalifour. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Jean Baptiste, Antoine, Michel, Francoise Xavier, Michel, Joseph, Jean Marie and Marie Sophie. He was the third youngest of the nine children.
