Sarah Allison 
Sarah was born in 1812 in Orange Co., N. C..1 Sarah's father was David Allison and her mother was Jane Gwinn. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Allison and Elizabeth Alecona Ray; her maternal grandparents were Moses Gwinn and Elizabeth Unknown. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Whiteside, Moses Gwinn, Grizzie, David Ray, James, Melissa Elizabeth, Jennie, Mary Gwinn and Catherine. She was the youngest of the ten children.1 -
