Catherine Allison 
Catherine was born on August 3rd, 1810 in Orange Co., N. C..1 Catherine's father was David Allison and her mother was Jane Gwinn. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Allison and Elizabeth Alecona Ray; her maternal grandparents were Moses Gwinn and Elizabeth Unknown. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Whiteside, Moses Gwinn, Grizzie, David Ray, James, Melissa Elizabeth, Jennie, Mary Gwinn and Sarah. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 88 on March 25th, 1899 in Orange Co., N. C..1 -
