Jane Underwood

Jane was born about 1724 in Christiana Hund., New Castle Co., DE. Jane's father was Alexander+ Underwood and her mother was Mary Jane+ Harris. Her paternal grandfather was Samuel+ Underwood and her paternal grandmother is Mary Ann+ Wilcocks; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Harris and Elizabeth Brinton. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Joseph, Benjamin, John, Elihu, Mary+, Elizabeth, Olive and Ruth. She is the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
