Elihu Underwood

Elihu was born about 1732 in London Grove Twp., Chester Co., PA.. Elihu's father was Alexander+ Underwood and his mother was Mary Jane+ Harris. His paternal grandfather was Samuel+ Underwood and his paternal grandmother is Mary Ann+ Wilcocks; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Harris and Elizabeth Brinton. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Joseph, Benjamin, John, Mary+, Elizabeth, Jane, Olive and Ruth. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died in 1801 in Warrington Twp., York Co., PA.
