Mary Magdalena's father was Isaac Troxell and her mother was Esther Unger. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Troxell and Magdalena Siegfried; her maternal grandparents are John Christian Unger and Susan X. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named George Franklin Adam, Alfred John Christian, Willoughby, Isaac Peter, Peter Francis Henry, Hiram Robert Lewis, William, Matthias Ephraim, Susanna Caroline, Eliza Ann, Kitty Ann Helena and Elmira Ellen Kittianna.General Notes
