Laura Catharine was born in 1879 in Carroll Co., IN. Laura Catharine's father was Ephraim Peter Troxell and her mother was Susanna H. Reichard. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Troxell and Elizabeth Bleiler. She has two brothers and five sisters, named Edward, Daniel, Ellen, Amanda, Anna, Fyetta and Louisa.
