Micajah Stanley 
Micajah was born on November 28th, 1739 in Hanover Co., VA. Micajah's father was James+ Stanley and his mother was Catherine+ Hutchins. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Horton+ Stanley and Elizabeth+ Patten; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas+ Hutchins and Mary+ Holmes Watkins. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William, Elijah+, James Jr., Caleb, Strangeman, Mary, Martha and Agnes. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 79 on March 25th, 1819 in Guilford, NC.General Notes
