Wilhelm I Zu Solms-Braunfels 
Wilhelm I Zu was born on April 18th, 1570. Wilhelm I Zu's father was Conrad Zu Solms-Braunfels and his mother was Elizabeth Von Nassau-Dillenburg. His paternal grandparents were Philipp Zu Solms-Braunfels and Anna Von Tecklenburg; his maternal grandparents were Wilhelm VIII Von Nassau-Dillenburg and Juliana Zu Stolberg-Wernigerode. He had a brother and a sister, named Johann Albrecht I Zu and Elizabeth Juliana Zu. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 64 on February 3rd, 1635.General Notes
