Joel Peter

Joel was born on February 17th, 1828 in Weisenberg Twp., Lehigh Co. PA. Joel's father was Casper Peter and his mother was Catharine Lucy Roth. His maternal grandparents were Gottfried Roth and Margaret Troxell. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Jonas, David, Solomon, Casper, Salome, Elizabeth, Catharine, Mary, Judith and Caroline. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 44 on March 12th, 1872 in Lehigh Co., PA.
