Barbara Ann was born on April 20th, 1720 in Louisa Co., VA. Barbara Ann's father was James Overton and her mother was Elizabeth Garland. Her paternal grandparents were William Overton and Elizabeth Overton Waters; her maternal grandparents are Edward Garland and Jane Jennings. She had a sister named Mary Garland. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 74 on December 24th, 1794 in VA.General Notes
