John Carr 
John was born on June 25th, 1706 in Pamunkey River, King William Co., VA. John's father was Thomas Jr. Carr and his mother was Mary Dabney. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Carr and Mary Lucy Garland; his maternal grandparents were Cornelius D` Aubigny and Susanne Swan. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Samuel, Ann, Catherine, Mary, Agnes Mary and Sarah Dabney. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 71 on June 17th, 1778 in Bear Castle, Louisa Co., VA.General Notes
