William Mills

William was born on October 5th, 1798 in Jefferson, TN. William's father was John Mills and his mother was Charity Mendenhall. His paternal grandparents were John III Mills and Sarah Millikan; his maternal grandparents are Mordecai Mendenhall and Hannah Marshall. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Ira, John Marshall, Lanty, Ruth, Hannah, Sarah and Millikan. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 73 on May 17th, 1872 in Vermilion Co., IL.
