John Marshall Mills

John Marshall was born on August 4th, 1817 in Lost Creek Mm, Jefferson Co., TN. John Marshall's father was John Mills and his mother was Charity Mendenhall. His paternal grandparents were John III Mills and Sarah Millikan; his maternal grandparents are Mordecai Mendenhall and Hannah Marshall. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Ira, Lanty, Ruth, Hannah, Sarah and Millikan. He is the second youngest of the eight children.
