Samuel Mikels 
Samuel was born on December 4th, 1847 in Schuyler Co., MO. Samuel's father was John S. Mikels and his mother was Mary Ann Scholl. His paternal grandparents were John Michael and Sarah Whitaker; his maternal grandparents were William Scholl and Martha Jemina Elledge. He had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Ranson Boone, Noah, Aaron, J. W., Mary `Polly`, Malinda Jane, Martha, Wesley and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 67 on October 8th, 1915 in Bartlesville, OK..General Notes
