Claud Hamilton 
Claud was born in 1553 in Hamilton, Lanarkshire, Scotland and his baptism took place on June 9th, 1546 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Claud's father was James Hamilton and his mother is Margaret Douglas. His paternal grandparents were James Hamilton and Janet Beaton; his maternal grandparents were James Douglas and Catherine Stewart. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Anne. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Robert. He died at the age of 68 in 1621 in Scotland.General Notes
