Ulysses Wesley was born on February 15th, 1868 in Cumberland, IL. Ulysses Wesley's father was Silas Asberry+ Easton and his mother was Eveline Lavina+ Strader. His paternal grandparents were Richard Westeroak+ Easton and Cynthia+ Waldrop; his maternal grandparents were Rolley+ Strader and Sarah H.+ Stewart. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Albert, Charles L., Lenuel, Sarah Mildred+, Mary Elizabeth, Emma B. and Laura Alinda. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
