Sarah Mildred+ was born on October 4th, 1855 in East of Charleston, IL. Sarah Mildred+'s father was Silas Asberry+ Easton and her mother was Eveline Lavina+ Strader. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Westeroak+ Easton and Cynthia+ Waldrop; her maternal grandparents were Rolley+ Strader and Sarah H.+ Stewart. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James Albert, Ulysses Wesley, Charles L., Lenuel, Mary Elizabeth, Emma B. and Laura Alinda. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 78 on August 15th, 1934 in Chicago, Cook Co., IL.General Notes

HISTORICAL HI-LITES: Sarah Mildred was born just a few weeks after the Crimean War ended. In 1855, Walt Whitman published "Leaves of Grass", "Uncle Tom`s Cabin" opened as a play in Paris, and Congress appropriated $30k to import camels for the military. King Camp Gillette (inventor of the safety razor) and James Schoolcraft Sherman (27th U.S. Vice-President) were born in 1855.
