Parthenia was born on November 10th, 1865 in Pike Co., MO. Parthenia's father was Rufus Eastin and her mother was Nancy Irvine. Her paternal grandparents were James Thomas Eastin and Theodotia South. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named James R., Cassius Brutus, Joseph Flavious, Rufus Hoy, Albro, Ernest, Norman, Nancy Fauntania, Theodosia, Laura and Elender.
