Claude Compton was born on August 6th, 1887 in Stanislaus Co., CA. Claude Compton's father was Cassius Columbus Eastin and his mother is Emma Compton. His paternal grandparents were James Thomas Eastin and Theodotia South. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Cassius Jefferson, Clarence, Ernest Eugene, Lucius Octavius, Marion Grover, Walter J., Matilda Parthania and Emma Viola.
