Cassius Jefferson Eastin 
Cassius Jefferson was born on May 15th, 1867 in MS. Cassius Jefferson's father was Cassius Columbus Eastin and his mother is Emma Compton. His paternal grandparents were James Thomas Eastin and Theodotia South. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Clarence, Ernest Eugene, Lucius Octavius, Marion Grover, Claude Compton, Walter J., Matilda Parthania and Emma Viola. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 72 on April 25th, 1940 in Stanislaus Co., CA.General Notes
