Ruth Doane

Ruth was born on October 11th, 1785 in Cane Creek Mm, Chatham, NC. Ruth's father was Joseph Doane and her mother was Jemima Vestal. Her paternal grandparents were John Doane and Ruth Dixon; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Curran+ Vestal and Elizabeth+ Davis. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Joseph, Jesse, Jonathan, Jacob, Elisha, Elizabeth, Rachel and Mary. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 85 in 1870.
