Elisha Doane

Elisha was born in 1806 in Wilmington, Clinton, OH. Elisha's father was Joseph Doane and his mother was Jemima Vestal. His paternal grandparents were John Doane and Ruth Dixon; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Curran+ Vestal and Elizabeth+ Davis. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Joseph, Jesse, Jonathan, Jacob, Ruth, Elizabeth, Rachel and Mary. He is the second youngest of the twelve children.
