Jonathan Doane

Jonathan was born on November 7th, 1798 in Cane Creek Mm, Chatham, NC. Jonathan's father was Joseph Doane and his mother was Jemima Vestal. His paternal grandparents were John Doane and Ruth Dixon; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Curran+ Vestal and Elizabeth+ Davis. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, William, Joseph, Jesse, Jacob, Elisha, Ruth, Elizabeth, Rachel and Mary. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 75 on July 7th, 1874.
