Bessie Bales

Bessie was born on January 1st, 1893 in Fairbury, NE. Bessie's father was Alanson Howard Bales and her mother was Anna Isabelle Adams. Her paternal grandfather is Nathan William Bales and her paternal grandmother was Minerva Jane Underhill; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Adams and Elizabeth Holland. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Frank Salvester, Thomas William, John Robert, Nathan Howard, Marion Adams, Wilbur, Edith Isabell, Ruth Elizabeth and Edna Hazel. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died at just 12 days old on January 13th, 1893 in Washington, KS. She was buried in Gaskill Cemetery, Washington, KS.
