Nathan Allen 
Nathan was born on June 4th, 1787 in Orange Co., NC. Nathan's father was John III Allen and his mother was Rachel Abigail Stout. His paternal grandparents were John II Allen and Phebe Scarlet. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named John IV, Peter, Joseph, Samuel, Harmon Daniel, Solomon, Joel, William, Abigail, Phebe, Rachel and Hannah. He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 33 on November 2nd, 1820 in Cane Creek, Orange Co., NC.General Notes
