Joseph Allen

Joseph was born on June 9th, 1783 in Orange Co., NC. Joseph's father was John III Allen and his mother was Rachel Abigail Stout. His paternal grandparents were John II Allen and Phebe Scarlet. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named John IV, Peter, Samuel, Nathan, Harmon Daniel, Solomon, Joel, William, Abigail, Phebe, Rachel and Hannah. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 64 on December 13th, 1847.
