John IV Allen

John IV was born on May 28th, 1780 in Orange Co., NC. John IV's father was John III Allen and his mother was Rachel Abigail Stout. His paternal grandparents were John II Allen and Phebe Scarlet. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Joseph, Samuel, Nathan, Harmon Daniel, Solomon, Joel, William, Abigail, Phebe, Rachel and Hannah. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 66 on February 13th, 1847.
