Erzsebet was born about 1128 in Esztergom, Komarom-Esztergom, Hungary.  Erzsebet's father was Duke Almos of Croatia & Hungary and her mother was Predeslava Svyatopolkovna of Kiev.  Her paternal grandfather was King Geza I of Hungary and her paternal grandmother is Sophy of Synadenos; her maternal grandfather was Prince Svyatapolk Mikhail II of Kiev and her maternal grandmother is concubine. She had a brother named "the Blind".  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-sister named Svyatoslavna.  She died on October 3rd, 1155.


Erzsebet's family with King Mieszko ("the Great") III of Poland

‌Erzsebet and "the Great" were married in a religious ceremony about 1140.  They had a son and a daughter, named Odon and Elzbita.
