John Shipley 
John was born on March 25th, 1716. John's father was Richard Shipley , Sr and his mother is Susannah Stevens. His paternal grandparents were Adam Shipley and Lois Howard; his maternal grandparents are Charles Stevens , Jr and Elizabeth Unknown. He had two brothers named Adam and Richard. He died before October 24th, 1725.General Notes
The Registers of Saint Anne's Church, Annapolis, and of Saint John'sParish, Baltimore County, Maryland, carry identical records of thebaptism of "John, son of Richard and Susannah Shipley, born March 25,1716, baptized, July 29, 1717." The absence of John's name in the willwould suggest that this son died in infancy or at some time earlier thatthe execution of the will, which was eight years after John's baptism.
