James Shipley 
James was born about 1771 in Washington Co, Tennessee. James' father was Benjamin Shipley and his mother is Elizabeth Unknown. His paternal grandfather was Richard Shipley , Jr and his paternal grandmother is Keturah H Barnes. He had seven brothers named Elijah, Richard, Conrad, Thomas, Samuel, Nathan and John.
