Ruth Maris 
Ruth was born on February 16th, 1771 in Orange County, Indiana.1 Ruth's father was George Maris and her mother was Mary Eleanor Lindley. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Lindley and Ruth Hadley. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Aaron, Thomas, John, William, Susannah and Catherine. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 93 on March 29th, 1864 in Indiana.1 -
