Catherine Maris 
Catherine was born in April 1780 in Orange Co Nc.1 Catherine's father was George Maris and her mother was Mary Eleanor Lindley. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Lindley and Ruth Hadley. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Aaron, Thomas, John, William, Ruth and Susannah. She was the second youngest of the seven children.1 -
