Mary Eleanor was born on September 15th, 1750 in London Grove, Chester County, Pennsylvania.1 Mary Eleanor's father was Thomas Lindley and her mother was Ruth Hadley. Her paternal grandparents were James William Lindley and Eleanor Parke; her maternal grandparents were Simon Hadley II and Ruth Keran Miller. She had six brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, William, John, Jonathan, Simon, Catherine, Ruth and Deborah. She died at the age of 32 on January 12th, 1783 in Orange County, North Carolina.1 -
