George Hadley 
George was born on January 19th, 1795 in Chatham Co., North Carol.1 George's father was Jeremiah Hadley and his mother was Ruth Maris. His paternal grandparents were Jeremiah (Joshua) Hadley and Mary Dickey; his maternal grandparents were George Maris and Mary Eleanor Lindley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Ira, Aaron, James Dickey, Lot Maris, Eleanor, Mary, Susanna and Eunice. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 72 on January 16th, 1868.1 -
