Thomas Davis 
Thomas was born on January 16th, 1734 in Goshen, Chester Co. Pa. Thomas' father was Charles Davies and his mother was Hannah Elizabeth Matson. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Davies and Mary North; his maternal grandparents were John Matson and Margaret. He had a brother and six sisters, named John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Mary, Thamar and Abigail. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 72 in 1806 in Cane Creek, Chatham Co., Nc. He was buried in Chestnut Creek, Montgomery Co. 'va.-
