Hannah was born on May 14th, 1744 in Cane Creek, Orange C o, Nc. Hannah's father was Charles Davies and her mother was Hannah Elizabeth Matson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Davies and Mary North; her maternal grandparents were John Matson and Margaret. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary, Thamar and Abigail. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 85 on August 9th, 1829 in Richmond (or Whitewater), Wayne Co, in. She was buried in Whitewater, Wayne, in.-
