Thamar Davis 
Thamar was born on November 10th, 1748 in Chester Co. Pa. Thamar's father was Charles Davies and her mother was Hannah Elizabeth Matson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Davies and Mary North; her maternal grandparents were John Matson and Margaret. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Mary and Abigail. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 80 on August 25th, 1829 in Cane Creek, Union, Sc.-
