Mary Davis 
Mary was born about 1745 in Chatham Co., Nc. Mary's father was Charles Davies and her mother was Hannah Elizabeth Matson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Davies and Mary North; her maternal grandparents were John Matson and Margaret. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Thamar and Abigail. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died in 1822 in Randolph Co, Nc.-
