Martha Ethelyn Clary 
Martha Ethelyn was born on August 7th, 1874 in Peru, Nemaha, Neb. Martha Ethelyn's father was William Carrol Clary and her mother was Angelina Geneva Hayes. Her maternal grandparents were James B. Hayes ,Jr and Elizabeth"Betsy" Wheeler. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Charles Carrol "Carl", Ralph Francis, Cora Ellen and Lulu (LuLa)Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert McClain, George Watkins, Andrew Jackson, John Carrol, William Millian, Henry Leeper, Mary Frances and Anna Seymour. She died at the age of 100 on October 28th, 1974 in Lincoln, Lancaster, Ne..General Notes

They too had five children. the first one, diedin infancy. Gerald is a teacher in Junior college at Clarinda, Iowa.Helen married Ervine Bennett, an engineer, at present working on a largeproject in Estes Park, Colo;
Ralph the 4th child, is with the State Dept in Washington, D.C. andHoward, the youngest, a Professor in Pennsylvania State College. All aremarried.
