He had seven brothers and eight sisters, named Enoch Blackwell, Isaac Drake, Joseph Washburn, William Washburn, Johnnie Washburn, Charles Santford Jr., James M., Cary Alexander, Azuba Lucinda, Catherine, Eura, Rachel Ann, Rebecca Jane, Mary Minerva (Molly) and America Ellen.
