Joseph Washburn Chritton

Joseph Washburn was born on June 14th, 1819 in , Brown County, Ohio. Joseph Washburn's father was Christopher Santford Chritton and his mother was Eura Eaton Drake. His paternal grandfather was Isaac Chritton and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Mann; his maternal grandparents were Enoch Blackwell Drake Sr. and Rachael Taylor. He had seven brothers and eight sisters, named Enoch Blackwell, Isaac Drake, William Washburn, Johnnie Washburn, Robert B, Charles Santford Jr., James M., Cary Alexander, Azuba Lucinda, Catherine, Eura, Rachel Ann, Rebecca Jane, Mary Minerva (Molly) and America Ellen. He was the third oldest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 87 on November 2nd, 1906.
