James Conway Senter 
James Conway was born on October 1st, 1873 in Alvarado, Johnson Co., Texas.1 James Conway's father was William Conway Senter and his mother was Elizabeth Comelia Kelley. His paternal grandparents were James C. Senter and Frances Jackson. He had six brothers and four sisters, named C. C., William Alvin, John Pinkney, Thomas Smyth, Henry Partain, Edgar Russell, Frankie Jane, Jeffie May, Rosalie and Dora. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on March 24th, 1948 in Abilene, Texas.1 General Notes
